One of our master teams was selected from 80 teams to go further in the big smart cities 5G University challenge organised by Vodafone Power Lab and Ericsson. Their idea called “RewardYourWaste” wants to reward people for sorting their waste and tackle the low recycling percentage, incorrect sorting and change the users’ perception of recycling.
The three students Tommaso Zocca, Luca Orsenigo and Alexandre Thomas Tessian, doing their Master in Management at the School of Business and Economics at Católica Lisbon, developed the startup idea in the business model innovation course taught by Professor René Bohnsack and Cláudia Antunes.
