SCIL presented its achievements in the inteGRIDy project in the track “Smart Cities – Cidades Inteligentes” at the 2018 Annual Science Meeting on the 4th of July in Lisbon. Being the leader for business model development in the inteGRIDy project, SCIL presented the scope of the project, as well as the business modelling tool that is currently being developed to help pilot leaders in the project to develop viable and replicable business models.

This year, the program of the Science Meeting was organized around “missions” associated with scientific and societal challenges, building on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. The goal of the 2018 Annual Science Meeting was to deepen knowledge in research and innovation, while reinforcing the mechanisms of communication and dialogue.

The event has been promoted by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia in collaboration with the Agência Nacional de Cultura Científica e Tecnológica, Ciência Viva, Comissão Parlamentar de Educação e Ciência, with the institutional support of the government through the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education.
